Store Review: Good Earth

THE ONE WITH THE APT NAME: GOOD EARTH
Earth is a place where we all reside and now as days are passing it is becoming the most hazardous place to live on. Many people are taking initiatives to make it a better place to spend our life on by replacing plastic bags with paper bags, plastic straws with paper straws and so on. One such brand creating its identity all over the world by making products that are all environment friendly is Good Earth. The former founder and creative director of good earth is Anita Lal. She finds her inspiration from things that are pleasant to her eyes. “Good Earth started serving the environment with eco friendly products in the year 1996, they opened their first outlet in the busy streets of Mumbai and continuing it in all over the abroad”, the 31 years old manager, Shashi Verma who has been working at the outlet from past 2 years tells us.
Making its place in the heart of the city, Khan Market, lies ‘Good Earth’. Giving the store most desirable fragrance, lies the candles at the immediate entrance. From apparels to crockery to lanterns to vessels everything in store is made with such a unique concept of making it with eco-friendly material. Shashi tells us, “For the convenience of busy, working class costumers they have also made online store available with wide range of products with reasonable pricing, where they can shop any day anytime”. We found the store very occupied with foreigners exploring the culture of our country in a big box.
Other than the products the store outlook is designed in such extravagant way, giving the customers rich Mughal vibe accompanied by ethnic and contemporary items. All the products in the store are also pocket friendly. “Every year they launch their new design collection inspired by any specific culture, region made from different fabric, material, colours” says Shashi.
As we were analysing the store, we became really overflowed with curiosity to know about the latest collection launched by the store, Shashi enlightened us with the latest collection that are: “  ‘A touch of nobility’, it is a collection of cushions made by velvet with the traditional embroidery of Persian motifs,  ‘Playful chintz’, collection specially designed for little ones for festive season,  ‘Festive silhouttes’, festive collection made from silk and velvet with bold prints and rich embroideries”.
Pocket friendly with great variety and quality of products to choose from, while keeping the betterment of  the environment in mind, what more could we ask for?
